Oz-wonderland book series review/summary
The Oz-wonderland saga is a series of books by Author Ron Glick, beginning with "The wizard in Wonderland" published on December 28th, 2013.
The series is of course a crossover between the worlds of "The Wonderful Wizard of Oz" by L. Frank Baum as well as "Alice's adventures in Wonderland" and "Alice through the Looking Glass." It currently spans four novels with a fifth forthcoming and crosses over with J.M. Barrie's "Peter Pan" during the third and Fourth novels. The series is also notable for attempting to explain the inconsistances and misconceptions found in the original novels, mostly those of the Oz series.
The first book has the Wizard mysteriously having vanished for several days and the Wicked Witch of the East mysteriously resurrected.Dorothy is called on by Glinda and Princess Ozma to help rectify the latter situation and is told of the Wizard's past with the witches of Oz, including the way he gave baby Ozma to Mombi. It's later found out that the Wizard is in what is commonly called Wonderland and Dorothy is sent there to fetch him, though an interference with Ozma's magic belt lands her in England to meet Alice. Dorothy is then taken to Wonderland and Alice is accidentally brought to Oz, where she is enlisted to help foil the one who claims to be the Wicked Witch of the East.
It's later revealed that the Witches of Oz originally lived in another land {called simply The Land} as Wyrds, given magic and the power to control fate by the mysterious and omnipotent Cheshire Cat. They were bound to the Land and forced to live in poverty while everyone else grew powerful and wealthy by their work. They sought to escape by creating a story that was impossible and could never happen, yet had to because they decreed it. This paradox shattered the land into Shards and allowed the Wyrds to escape. They eventually settled in Oz and manipulated the newly arrived Wizard into helping them rise to power as the Wicked Witches. The remains of the Land after it was shattered became the nonsensical place Alice first visited and two of it's shards became the World behind the Looking Glass that Alice visited later and Neverland. It's also revealed that the Wizard traveled through time as well as space to get to Wonderland {Alice having already visited both there and the Looking Glass world by 1871} and that the place eventually ceased to exist by Dorothy's time. It's an action-packed romp with plenty of twists, particularly once Peter Pan gets involved. The biggest shock is the surprising history between Glinda and Thysla, the seldom mentioned Wicked Witch of the South.

Muscle Toph #1: Katara
Katara gingerly placed a foot into the hot springs. The Fire Nation was renowned for them, and the waterbender could immediately feel the soothing effects.
"I hear steams great for sore..." She bit her tongue.
Toph had developed...a condition. No one was quite sure how, or why. And no one dared ask.
A tremendously muscular physique by any standards, and even more absurd on the short 12 year old, Toph struggled to keep the towel closed.
"Katara, can you PLEASE help me with this towel!? It's bad enough I can't SEE it. I can't tell if it's way too big or way too small!"
The brown-skinned girl could practically feel the blood filling her mouth as

Muscle Toph #2: Aang
Katara bent the cool water over her sore muscles. Toph was a slavedriver as a teacher, and worse as a trainer. Aang limped over, legs stiff from her regimen.
"I think she's trying to kill us," Aang groaned, "Even when she was my Earthbending instructor, it wasn't this bad!"
"That's more than I had. She just keeps telling me 'Your muscles are like your bending, formless and soft!'" She mocked the squeaky voiced girl as best she could. Aang couldn't help but chuckle.
"Yeah! 'Twinkletoes! If you want a body like a goat-gorilla you have to train like one!'"
The two nearly doubled over in laughter, unaware of the heavy footfalls of the one they mo
